Al Simmons—the man known as SPAWN—has returned to his own time after a battle that dragged him into a future devastated by a war between Heaven, Hell, and himself. Unfortunately for Spawn, he is not alone. Allies, enemies, and strangers have been pulled from their respective eras into the present day. All of them seem to have their own agendas. Even Al’s former mentor, Cogliostro, has begun moving in the shadows and forging alliances that threaten to ignite the very war Spawn is desperately trying to prevent.
