Spawn #298

Al Simmons uses a secure location to speak remotely with the media. With Marc’s help, he manages to remain hidden. Although Marc appears to be out of danger, things change quickly when the police detain him and question him about Spawn’s whereabouts. But what Marc discovers is that the “humans” interrogating him aren’t human at all—they’re demons. Fortunately, Spawn arrives to rescue him and transports him to safety.

When Spawn and Marc return home, they are met by more demons and are forced to engage in a fight to the death. Elsewhere, Nyx has a call with a mysterious woman and warns her that everyone Spawn has ever known has been killed by Hell’s minions. Both of them understand they must be prepared for what lies ahead.
