Captain Buggy the Clown and Luffy engage in a spectacular battle—one that could only happen between two Devil Fruit users. During the fight, we learn more about Buggy and Shanks' shared past.

Now that Nami and Zoro have officially joined Luffy's crew, it's time to continue their journey toward the Grand Line.
They land in a small village in search of a sturdier ship and some food. There, they meet the proud but dishonest Usopp, and thanks to him, they are introduced to Kaya, the richest person in the village, from whom they request a ship.

However, Kurahadol, the butler, gets in the way—and Luffy is forced to tragically abandon his request.
