Armed with the Lance of Longinus, the black giant Armaros has caused countless unprecedented catastrophes across Earth in order to subjugate humanity. While Asuka travels to the Moon in search of the source of these disasters, Shinji and the Super EVA face off against a mysterious white Type-02 Unit piloted by Hikari Hokari, the squad leader.
