Demon Slayer #1

Tanjiro Kamado lives on a mountain with his mother and five younger siblings. One day, he goes down to the village to sell charcoal. The next day, he returns home to find his family massacred. His sister Nezuko shows signs of life, and he tries to take her to the village to see a doctor, but she transforms into a demon and attacks him. At that moment, a Demon Slayer named Giyu Tomioka suddenly appears with the intent to kill Nezuko, but she protects Tanjiro instead. Giyu sees something different in Nezuko and tells Tanjiro to seek out Sakonji Urokodaki to train as a Demon Slayer and search for a way to turn Nezuko back into a human.
