Berserk #41

Thinking about Casca’s safety, Guts sets out for Elfhelm, the peaceful homeland of Puck. Along the way, they reunite with Isidro, Farnese, and Serpico, whom Guts accepts as companions. In the Forest of the Spirit Tree, they meet the witch Schierke, and in the city of Vritanis, they board the Seahorse ship, commanded by Roderick from the maritime country of Ys. Together, they embark toward Elfhelm.

In a new world opened by Griffith, and after being attacked by unimaginable demons, the group of warriors finally reaches their destination. Using the technique of the Queen of the Flower Storms, sovereign of the elf island, Schierke and Farnese delve deep into Casca’s mind, gather the pieces of her memory, and manage to restore her mental stability. However, at the end of this long journey, Guts and Casca still cannot look each other in the eye as everyone had hoped.
